Approaches to monitoring, review and evaluation

This set of resources for QAA Members relating to monitoring, review and evaluation processes has been produced in partnership with the Quality Strategy Network (QSN).

Based on engagements with quality leads at a range of higher education providers across the UK, these resources identify sectoral trends in approaches to these quality management processes and chart an array of diverse practices determined by the contexts in which those providers are operating.

They look at data-driven and risk-based approaches to continuous monitoring and cyclical review, and present a variety of examples of practices from across the sector.

A process framework toolkit can be used alongside these examples to support providers in the design and development of local approaches to monitoring, evaluation and review.
