Application form


Please complete all sections of the below application form. As part of your application, it is important to demonstrate a clear and meaningful commitment to Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI). You should embed EEDI principles and considerations throughout all aspects of your project, from design to methodology and dissemination.

 

There is no allocated section for EEDI, so please incorporate EEDI considerations throughout the sections below. We will factor this into our assessment of applications.

As project lead, if you are an international institution, please indicate which Standard(s) of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) the project aligns with and seeks to demonstrate enhancement of.

200 words max. Please describe the overall aim(s) of the project, including what it is trying to achieve, who will benefit from it and how it advances existing practice.

100 words max. List up to 5 clear and specific objectives that the project aims to achieve. Detail what you will actually do to meet the overall aim(s) of the project.

100 words max. How will the project be conducted? How is it innovative in its design and method?

50 words max. Explain how you will measure the success and the impact of the project, and the ongoing benefits of the project following its completion.

50 words max. How will the work enhance student learning outcomes, learning experience or wider student engagement?

50 words max. How will you work with your partners to achieve the project goals? How will you work with students to achieve the project goals?

50 words max. How can the practices and outcomes be scaled to institutional level, to benefit across departments and faculties?

50 words max. How will you involve non-sector stakeholders, such as industry and employers, third sector bodies and communities?

50 words max. How will the project advance knowledge and practice in your area of activity and potentially for the sector as whole?

50 words max. How have you factored sustainability into your project, whether that is mitigation of environmental impact, Education for Sustainable Development and/or contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (if so, please specify).

Please provide a narrative of the project plan across the proposed timeline, with suggested timescales, all key project activities and the five expected flexible outputs (please see CEP Application Guidance).

This project plan may also include:

• Ethics approval (if required)
• Employment of project staff (if required)
• Schedule for project oversight and engagement with partners
• Key project phases
• Partner and wider sector meetings and consultation
• Publication of outputs
• Dissemination activities

Please note we expect projects to start between January and July 2026 and for their duration to be no longer than 18 months.

Please note: £15,000 is the maximum funding request.
