The resource map is designed to be accessible to a wide audience in the sector. It is intended to help academic and professional support staff who are engaged in securing academic standards and assuring and enhancing quality. It can be used by colleagues in senior management, quality management, academic development, programme leaders, course teams, review committees and students’ unions.
The resource map is aligned to the B conditions of registration as set out in the OfS regulatory framework. QAA resources have been arranged under three sub-headings for each condition of registration:
The map can be used when developing or reviewing institutional strategies, in policy development and at specific points such as in new programme design, course/programme validations and review, as well as the overall enhancement of provision. It can also support early career academics and quality professionals who may be new to academic standards, quality assurance and enhancement in UK higher education.
